How do I offer buy 2 get 1 free or a free gift on Shopify?

Step by step

1. In Shopify, open Supr Bundle & Subscription App > Offers and click Create offer.
2. Choose Bundle or Bundle + Subscription and pick Buy X, get Y or Gifts & add-ons under Choose a bundle type.
3. For Buy X Get Y, set the Buy quantity, the Reward quantity, the Reward discount (free, percentage off, amount off or fixed price) and where the reward comes from: the same product, the offer's products, or products you pick.
4. For a gift on any option, click Free gifts, turn it on, add the gift product and its quantity, and choose First order only or Every order (ongoing).
5. Choose how gifts are given: every gift, or a pool the customer picks from.
6. Click Save.

Good to know

• Every unit gets its own variant choice, so a Buy 2 Get 1 Free on a t-shirt can be a medium, a large and a free small.
• The reward goes to the cheapest unit in the set, the way Shopify's own Buy X Get Y works.
• A first order only gift is taken off the subscription after the first order, so it does not ship free on every renewal.
• You choose what happens when a gift sells out: show the option as sold out, or keep selling without the gift.
