Sell the way your product is used: a refill every few weeks, a prepaid gift, a free trial, a curated box.

How it worksCustomers pay for several deliveries at once (called prepaid), or send a subscription to someone as a gift.
A free or cheaper first order, or a starter kit followed by regular refills.
Each delivery ships the next product on a list you set, like a different roast each month.
A new box you choose, or a mystery one, every week or month.
Also called subscription boxes
How it worksHow it works
Choose Subscription and the kind: subscribe and save, prepaid, free trial, rotating products or a box.
One option per delivery frequency, each with its own discount.
Subscribers skip, swap or pause in the customer portal, and repeat orders charge through Shopify.
After checkout
The parts that decide whether a subscription lasts are built in, not a second app.
Skip, swap, pause, reschedule and edit, inside Shopify customer accounts.
A different offer for each reason a subscriber gives for leaving.
Automations such as a seasonal break or a product update after the first order.
Failed payments are retried automatically, and customers get a one-click request to update their card.
Discounts that grow the longer a customer stays.
Monthly subscription revenue, how many subscribers leave, what each customer is worth and how payments perform, with export.
The details
A subscription app lets shoppers choose a delivery frequency on the product page and get the order again on that schedule, charged automatically through Shopify checkout. Supr adds the subscription options to your product pages, gives subscribers a portal to manage their own subscription, and keeps them longer with cancellation flows, loyalty rewards and automations.
Every bundle type is built in, so the same product page can sell packs, boxes and sets one-time or on subscription.
| Type | What it does | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Subscribe and save | Delivered on a schedule, usually for a discount | Every 4 weeks, 10% off |
| Pay upfront (prepaid) | Several deliveries paid upfront | 6 months of coffee, paid once |
| Gift subscription | A prepaid subscription sent to someone else | 3 months of tea for a friend |
| Free trial | The first order free or discounted, then the normal price | First box free |
| Starter, then refills | A starter product once, then its refills | A razor, then blades every month |
| Rotating products | Each order ships the next product on a list | A different roast each month |
| Subscription box | A new curated or mystery selection every week or month | The October snack box |
Create an offer, add one subscription option per frequency and give each its discount. Frequencies can be any number of days, weeks, months or years. The discount can be a percentage, an amount off each product or a fixed price, and it can change after a set number of orders, for example 10% off the first 3 orders, then 15%.
The options show on the product page next to one-time purchase, and you choose which is selected by default.
Subscribers manage their subscription in the customer portal, inside Shopify's customer accounts or on a page of its own. You choose which actions are allowed:
Turn on a cancellation flow: when a subscriber clicks cancel, they are asked why, and each reason can carry its own counter-offer, such as a discount, a skip, a pause, a different frequency or a product swap. An accepted discount goes onto the subscription straight away, with no code to type.
Pause flows set limits and send a reminder and a win-back offer, and win-back emails go out 14, 30 and 60 days after a cancellation. Failed payments are retried on a schedule you set, and you choose what happens after the last retry.
Yes, with journeys: automations that run on subscription events, such as a subscription starting or an order being paid. A journey can change the frequency after the first orders, move a starter product onto its refills, start a loyalty program or update the shipping address. Loyalty rewards can be given by number of orders or by spend.
Yes. Every kind of bundle is built in: buy more and save more discounts, build-your-own boxes, buy 2 get 1 free, ready-made sets and free gifts, sold one-time or on subscription from the same offer. A subscribed bundle keeps its bundle discount on every repeat order, or for the first orders only if you choose.
Supr has ready-made importers for Recharge, Seal and Shopify Subscriptions: export your subscriptions and upload the file, and subscribers keep their schedules and prices. For other apps, our team plans the move with you from their export. In most migrations saved payment methods stay with your store, so subscribers do not enter their cards again.
Supr does all of these. See every feature.
